St. Patrick's Day Romp

Dan & Crystal and the girls came for dinner on St. Patrick's Day, and the girls had a blast playing with Grandpa on the exercise equipment.

Harper is a good climber!

Almost a shot of the family. Cheyenne loved playing the keyboard, and especially liked the programmed Star Wars theme.

The yo-yo of death almost throttles the baby.

Cheyenne says there's nothing like a brisk walk after dinner.
The non-motorized treadmill takes a pretty good push to get going. When you weigh less than 30 pounds, getting started requires the use of a simple machine. Chey demonstrates how to kick the flywheel and get the belt moving.

Rock-A-Thon!

Ivy and her basketball teammates gave our old rocking chair a new lease on life and entered a team in the Eyer Middle School Rock-A-Thon. Originally planned to benefit the American Cancer Society, the students decided instead to donate their funds to the family of Mr. Kevin Bender, one of their teachers, who died of leukemia during the planning of the event.

Welcome!

Today is the first day of posting pictures of the PA Jones family. I'll begin with David's birthday party and work backward through time. Hope you enjoy the view!

Happy 30th Birthday, David -- 02/11/2010

Dave and his best girl, Lily.

David requested a Sunday breakfast to celebrate his birthday this year. Emily and Darion both had to work, but the rest of the local family were able to come. It takes a lot of food to satisfy this bunch!
Cheyenne and Grandma did their best to eat something before playtime.

We've discovered that we can bring our folding picnic tables inside and extend them in a T-shape from our dining table and provide comfortable seating for 20 people!
Clockwise: Gabe Zavecz, Rachel and Corey, Little G. Jailynn, Hailey Z., Ivy, Sally's back, Crystal

Cheyenne sat at the end of the T.
Harper decided to sit near her Mom and Dad.

Lily challenged her Dad to a game of Mancala.

Dave did his best to eat every last bit of the food.

The Best Ice Cream Cake Ever!

It's a well-known fact that Mark is a sucker for a good birthday party -- and Dan takes after his Dad in this regard. When David said he didn't want cake at a breakfast-time celebration, the guys took it into their own hands. Yes, that's a corn muffin that's sunk in the middle of a half-gallon of ice cream. Do we know how to party, or what?
